Most of my gaming at the moment has been focused on World of Warcraft. Although, I do play a few of the Kingdom Hearts games with my daughter. (Actually, it’s more like I play, she “coaches”)
Unfortunately, playtime this past week has been pretty limited. As a single working mother, the bulk of my playtime occurs in the early evenings/weekends and this past weekend was pretty shot as far as gaming goes. My chorus (I’m a Sweet Adeline) competed in our annual regional competition on Saturday. Because of issues with my daughter, I was unable to spend the weekend there like most of my chorus. Instead, I got up early Saturday morning, drove 1 1/2 hours to the Convention Center, competed, then drove back home. All told, I was out from around 6:00 am until around 9:30 pm. Needless to say, I pretty much collapsed once I got home.
I was, however, able to get in some WoW time this past weekend and spent most of it pet battling. I am currently trying to get the “An Awfully Big Adventure” achievement, so I took at trip out to the Darkmoon Faire. I showed Jeremy Feasel and Christoph Von Feasel that I could beat them with one hand tied behind my back (or at least with one pet just sitting there looking cute).
This weekend will be almost as bad as the chorus has a performance scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Hopefully, I’ll get some time to work on the achievement this weekend.
